The Mammillaria are unquestionably the most prolific genus + / - 300 species compose it in all shapes and sizes with small or large flowers.
The geographical distribution of the genus is primarily located in Mexico, Baja and some species in Venezuela, Colombia, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, the Virgin Islands.
Their habitats are plains, valleys, rocks, etc. ..... and in nearly all soils.

CULTIVATION: Some species are very delicate and requires much skill and a very specific composition of soil and others are easy plants accepting almost everything, there really is something for everyone ....
